I will admit it. As an American, I hesitated when a plate of snails hit the table in Hanoi. But the locals at Ốc Nóng Hà Trang made it look way too good to ignore. With a little coaching and a lot of curiosity, I went in on the big snails and the steamed clams.

That first bite changed everything. Clean, rich, and swimming in a sauce so good I considered asking for a spoon. What I expected to fear became one of my favorite food memories in Vietnam. Sometimes the best meals start with a little courage. ❤️‍🔥✨
